This acupuncture certification program is designed for
western medicine health care professionals, including
physicians, chiropractors, and other medical professionals.
Total study time is 300 hours, consisting of 3 series
step-by-step acupuncture study. During each series,
participants will spend all mornings on clinic practice
with small groups instructed by experienced TCM
physicians, and all afternoons on lectures of Traditional
Chinese Medicine (TCM) and acupuncture. In this
way, participants can apply acquired knowledge and
skills into practice quickly to maximize both knowledge
and acupuncture skills. All programs will be taught
in English at WHO Collaborating Center of Traditional
Chinese Medicine in Beijing, China. English translation
will be provided for instructors who can't
speak English. |

| Acupuncture Certification Series 1 (120 hr) |

| Program Highlights: |
- Total acupuncture study time is 120 hours (approximate 3 weeks)
- Start time: May 16 and October 17 every year
- Focus: thorough introduction to acupuncture basic and practice
- Curriculum: clinic observation and practice in the morning; lecture about TCM and acupuncture in the afternoon
- Fees (tuition, room & board etc.): $2,950
- An 120-hour acupuncture completion certificate can be issued upon request.

- Focus on etiology, diagnostic methods and point location

- A n300 hour acupuncture completion certificate will be issued upon request

| Fees exclude: |
- International Flight: Global Institution offers discount international airline ticket to China.
- Food: the training center has a Chinese café, which costs about $5-10 for daily three meals. Several affordable Chinese and western restaurants are also nearby.
- Travel Insurance: For your protection, Global Institution highly recommends purchasing Trip Cancellation Insurance that can provide reimbursement of all study trip fees if you cancel prior to departure. Compare and check travel insurance.

| Admission Requirements:
|
- Acupuncture Certification Series 1: physicians, chiropractors, medical researchers, nurses, or other medical professionals with higher degrees and clinical experience.
- Acupuncture Certification Series 2: people who have finished Acupuncture Certification 1, or equivalent 120 hours of training course at other TCM colleges.
- Acupuncture Certification Series 3: people who have finished Acupuncture Certification 2, or wquivalent 200 hours of training course at other TCM colleges.

| Important Remainders |
- Participants should arrive in Beijing at least 1-2 days before the beginning of the course.
- Global Institution will arrange optional weekend tours to Great Wall, Ming Tomb, Forbidden City and Summer Palace at participants own cost.
- Global Institution’s representatives will provide assistance and help in
Beijing, including airport pick-up and drop off, orientations
in school and surroundings, and 24-hour emergency
help during participants study in Beijing.
