This tour provides the best history and nature exploration across China. We will take you to the charming cities of Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong, historical city of Xian, and scenic cities of Suzhou, Hangzhou and Guilin. Visit the historical sites, cannels with attractive riverside scenery, temples, hills, gardens, rivers, museums and monuments. The major attractions are Great Wall, the Forbidden City, the Summer Palace, Big Wild goose Pagoda, Terracotta Warriors, Provincial History Museum, Old Town, Jade Buddha Temple, Bund and more. Day 1: Beijing Arrive at Beijing airport. A friendly English speaking staff will pick you up and transfer you to hotel. Relax yourself for the rest of the day. |
Day 2: Beijing
Morning visit Forbidden City, afternoon tour around Beijing’s Hutong, the "Old City" neighborhoods of narrow alleys and courtyard gardens hidden behind Beijing's modern facade. Evening enjoy Beijing Duck dinner. |
Day 3: Beijing
Morning visit Temple of Heaven and lush gardens of the Summer Palace. Afternoon visit Xiu Shui Street. Evening visit Lao She Tea House to experience local culture. |
Day 4: Beijing Morning hiking on Great Wall, which snakes over the green hilly countryside outside of Beijing. Afternoon visit Ming Tombs and its underground vault. |
Day 5: Beijing - Xian
Morning fly to Xian, and be transferred to hotel. Afternoon visit the wild Goose Pagoda of the Tang Dynasty, the Bell Drum Tower of the Ming Dynasty and City Wall. |
Day 6: Xian
Today, you will see one of the most exciting archeological finds in recent years - the site of more than 6000 life-size terra-cotta warriors and horses. They are acclaimed as the "Eighth Wonder of the world". Also visit the Banpo Village Museum, site of a 6000 year-old Neolithic village and Huaqing Hot Spring. Tonight enjoy a Tang Dynasty banquet dinner show. |
Day 7: Xian - Shanghai Visit the Provincial History Museum in the morning, and have a dumpling lunch at local families. Fly to Shanghai in the afternoon. |
Day 8: Shanghai
Full day visit Bund, Yu Garden, Jade Buhhda Temple, Old Town, Nanjing Road. Evening watch an acrobatic show. |
Day 9: Shanghai - Zhouzhuang - Suzhou
Morning drive to Zhouzhuang, a water town of thousand years of history. Afternoon take a boat to Suzhou on Grand Cannel and enjoy beautiful riverside view. |
Day 10: Suzhou - Hangzhou Morning visit Garden of Administration, Garden of Master of Net, Silk Institution. Afternoon drive to Hangzhou and be transferred to hotel. |
Day 11: Hangzhou
Visit the West Lake, the Red Carp Pond and the Mausoleum of General Yue Fei. |
Day 12: Hangzhou - Shanghai
Drive back to Shanghai, and enjoy the view. Relax yourself in the afternoon. |
Day 13: Shanghai Experience of being a Shanghai people for one day. |
Day 14: Shanghai - Guilin Fly to Gui Lin, a city famous for scenic beauty that inspired poets and artists for centuries. Be transferred to hotel. Relax yourself the rest of the day. |
Day 15: Guilin
Li River Cruise with lime stone pinnacles, water buffalos, farms and villages on both sides of the river bank. Lunch will be served on board. Disembark your ship when arriving Yangshuo, an ancient small town which famous for beautiful scenery and vast collections of China products. Walk around through the local market. |
Day 16: Guilin
Visit farms, rice paddies by driving to the Ancient Banyan tree Park and Moon Hill, you may also climb 890 steps up to the moon hill to see the beautiful country side scenery. Be transferred to Guilin in the afternoon. Visit one of the beautiful illuminated Cave, Reed Flute Cave, where you will learn how the karsts formations Go back to Guilin today. |
Day 17: Guilin - Hong Kong Fly to Hong Kong in the morning. Explore in Hong Kong in the afternoon. |
Day 18: Hong Kong
Full day visit Wong Tai Sin, Kowloon Walled City Park, Bird Garden; Kam Tin Walled Village, Luen Wo Market, Lam Tsuen Wishing Tree |
Day 19: Hong Kong
Morning visit Victoria Peak, Repulse Bay, Aberdeen fishing village. Afternoon free of shopping. |
Day 20: Exit
We will transfer you to airport in Hong Kong for your return flight. Your flight will bring you back home the same day. Or, we will arrange further travel assistances in China upon your request. |

Recommended hotel: Great Wall Sheraton in Beijing, Sheraton in Xi’an, Jin Jiang Tower in Shanghai, Continental Hotel in Hangzhou, and Sheraton in Suzhou, Sheraton Guilin, Metropark Hotel in Hong Kong. All hotels in China are rated as 5- star and Metropark Hotel in Hong Kong is 4-star. If above hotels are not available, similar standard hotels will be arranged instead.
